Pelican Bus & Coach is the UK and Ireland importer and distributor for Yutong buses and coaches. Yutong’s TCe12 – the UK’s first zero-emission full electric coach, is set to be one of the stars of this year’s show. What are you most looking forward to about the show?
Looking forward to meeting long-standing existing and new customers.
Looking ahead, what’s the biggest opportunity for the coach & bus industry in the coming years?
Biggest opportunity is the emergence of full-electric buses and coaches and Yutong are a the world leader.
Can you give us an example of what your business is doing to be even more sustainable?
Promoting zero emission vehicles.
What’s your view/standpoint on zero-emission vehicles?
Zero emissions is a top priority.
In your opinion, how can the industry continue to reduce its carbon footprint?
Operators need to invest now in zero emissions to stay ahead of the game.
Why is innovation so vital to the future of the industry?
The passenger transport industry needs to exhibit itself in a favourable manner to the general public and increase the importance of the industry to society.
