Coach & Bus UK returns to the NEC Birmingham today (4 October). Doors open at 9.30am (Halls 17-19), with over 6,000 attendees expected over the next two days.
Organised by Diversified Communications UK, in association with the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT), the show will feature 190 exhibitors representing every link of the supply chain – from ‘must have’ vehicles, accessories, parts and equipment to cutting-edge technology, training and business services.

Show visitors will be among the first to see a host of new innovations – including Irizar’s I6S Integral, Ayats’ Eclipse double decker coach on a Scania chassis, Nu-Track’s Euro 6 wheelchair accessible bus, Caetano’s Levante III (for National Express), EVM’s Cityline 25 edition low floor minibus, and Project Insight Autonomous Transportation’s self-driving Pod.
Arriva, Auto Cuby, B.A.S.E., Dawsonrentals, GM Coachwork, London Hire, Mellor, Mercedes-Benz, M to Midis, Moseley (PCV), Mistral Group & Alexander Dennis, Pelican Bus & Coach, Swansea Coachworks, TBC Conversions, Treka Bus and Volvo are also displaying their latest vehicles.
“During the two days, we will all get the chance to catch up with industry friends and colleagues, and hopefully make some new ones along the way,” says Simon Posner, CEO of the CPT UK.
“Coach & Bus UK refocuses on the supply side of the industry, where we will see the ground-breaking new vehicles, technological advances and innovations which have been developed in this vibrant sector of our economy. These new innovations will almost inevitably become standard across the industry in the months and years to come. You will have seen them here first!” he says.
Show highlights include seminars hosted by big name representatives from The Go-Ahead Group, Stagecoach, First Bus, Grey’s of Ely, Travel de Courcey, Lucketts Travel, the CPT, Transport Focus, DVSA, LowCVP, and the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Focus Desk.
Plus, the West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street, will be at the show at 8.30am on Thursday 5 October to (re)launch the West Midlands Bus Alliance (open to press and exhibitors only).
